The DHT-11 Digital Temperature And Humidity Sensor is a basic, ultra low-cost digital temperature and humidity sensor. It uses a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor to measure the surrounding air and spits out a digital signal on the data pin (no analog input pins needed).

Its fairly simple to use, but requires careful timing to grab data. The only real downside of this sensor is you can only get new data from it once every 2 seconds, so in your code please use sensor reading interval at 2 seconds or more. Compared to the DHT22, this sensor is less precise, less accurate and works in a smaller range of temperature/humidity.

Ultrasonic sensors work by emitting sound waves at a frequency which is too high for humans to hear. 

An above image shows the HC-SR-04 ultrasonic sensor which has a transmitter, receiver. The pin configuration is,

Inductive proximity switches, also known as inductive proximity sensors or metal sensors, contain a high-frequency oscillation circuit, detection circuit, amplifier circuit, trigger circuit, and output circuit. 

When power is supplied to the switch, the oscillator in the high-frequency oscillation circuit generates an alternating electromagnetic field on the detection surface of the switch. When a metal object approaches this surface, eddy currents are induced within the metal, which absorb energy from the electromagnetic field. As a result, the oscillator is either weakened or stopped.

This change in the oscillator’s state is detected by the detection circuit and converted into a level signal. The signal is then amplified by the amplifier circuit and passed through the trigger circuit, which activates the output transistor circuit to produce a switching signal. This process allows the switch to detect the presence or absence of metal, thereby achieving the purpose of metal detection.I

The TCS3200 is a color sensor which has an array of photodiodes. To detect color, the photodiodes are arranged in groups of four with red, green, or blue filters on three of the photodiodes and no filter on the fourth. This allows the sensor to measure the amount of red, green, blue, and white light that hits the sensor.

This module incorporates four white LEDs to illuminate an object of which you wish to measure the color of. The white light from these LEDs hits your test object and reflects back to the module's sensor, which then measures the amount of red, green, blue, and white light that was reflected.

A precision amplifier measures the voltage across the 0.1 ohm, 1% sense resistor. Since the amplifier maximum input difference is ±320mV this means it can measure up to ±3.2 Amps. The RCWL-0516 Microwave Radar Sensor module has been designed as an alternative to the common PIR motion sensors widely used in burglar alarms and security lights. Like the PIR sensor, this sensor also detects only movements within its detection range. But instead of sniffing the blackbody radiation from a moving person, this sensor uses a microwave Doppler radar technique to detect moving objects. It has a sensitivity range of ~7 meters. A sound sensor, also known as an acoustic sensor or microphone, is a device that detects and measures sound waves, converting them into electrical signals for processing and analysis

The HX711 is a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) integrated circuit (IC) specifically designed for use with load cells in weight scale and industrial control applications. It acts as an amplifier and converter, taking the weak analog signals from a load cell and converting them into digital data that a microcontroller can understand. 

The eye–blink sensor works by illuminating the eye and eyelid area with infrared light, then monitoring the changes in the reflected light using a phototransistor and differentiator circuit.  

The exact functionality depends greatly on the positioning and aiming of the emitter and detector with respect to the eye.
