The 3S 40A Lithium Ion BMS is a high current Battery Management System for Lithium Ion Battery Pack. The BMS provides Overcharge, Over Discharge, and Short Circuit Protection. This BMS is for a 3 Series Battery Pack i.e. 11.1V Lithium Ion Battery Pack.

The full charge voltage of the Battery Pack will be 12.6V. The charging voltage should be 12.6V to 13.6 CC/CV. This BMS is not a balanced charger for the Battery Pack. The maximum discharge current of the BMS is 80A. However continuous discharging current is 40A.

This 3S 40A Lithium Ion BMS should not be used with Drill Motor, as this does not provide Balance charging of the Battery Pack, and might damage the battery as well the BMS.

Note: Do not connect Lithium Ion Battery cells with different voltage or resistance to the module, as this can damage the battery cells as well as the BMS.

It provides continuous discharge of 30A, Balanced current, for electric drill/sprayer/LED lights/low power inverter.  (if the cooling environment is not good, please reduce the load current use),The Scope of Nominal voltage of 3.6V, 3.7V lithium battery (including 18650,26650, a polymer lithium battery) where Charging voltage can be range between 16.8V to 18.1V The board operates smoothly with Continuous charge current of (upper limit): 20A. The balanced version is suitable for starting current below 80A, power 135W below the drill (with balance).

A 3S 10A BMS (Battery Management System) is a protection circuit designed for 3-series (3S) lithium-ion battery packs, commonly found in 11.1V or 12V applications. The "3S" indicates a series connection of three cells, and "10A" refers to the maximum continuous discharge current the BMS can handle. This BMS provides essential protection features like overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit, and over-current protection.
